ENETWILD 2.0

Details

On behalf of the European Food Safety Agency, INBO is participating in the ENETWILD project (www.enetwild.com). This is a consortium of European research institutions studying wildlife management and monitoring, mainly in relation to possible disease transmission from game species to both protected species and farm animals or humans. INBO participates in optimising the use of camera traps to monitor hunted and protected mammal species in Europe. We want to centralise and harmonise the resulting data on numbers, distribution and density.
